Constitution of the Dawn of Kings

Dawn of Kings operates on an executive officer and voting member board structure. Alliance leadership communication will be conducted in the Dawn of Kings Discord chat. 

R5

The R5 position is considered the executive officer and the tie breaking vote for major decisions. The R5 decides the direction for the alliance and interfaces directly with the leadership of other alliances. Most decisions can be made unilaterally, though controversial decisions must be put up for a vote. Because the R5 position can be time-consuming and stressful at times, this position will be shared among the R4’s on a regular rotation or as-needed. A deputy R5 should be chosen in case the R5 is unavailable for significant events.

R4

The R4 position is considered a voting member of the board and is a trusted and active member of the alliance. R4’s will be 20% of the alliance population, rounded to the nearest even number. This number will be reassessed bi-monthly in order to reflect the most current population count. If the number of R4’s is too high at the reassessment, volunteers should come forward to step down from their positions. Otherwise, there must be an anonymous election. R4’s will be elected from R3 through a leadership vote. Any R4 may interface with other alliances to settle disputes or major negotiations, but the other alliance leadership must be informed and decisions must be put up for a vote. R4’s unable to meaningfully fulfill the duties expected of them will voluntarily resign their post and be demoted R3. Subsequently, they will be removed from the leadership Discord chat. 

R3

R3 players are the loyal forces of Dawn of Kings. These are proven active players who have demonstrated the spirit of the alliance and have earned protections. Any punitive action against an R3 requires a leadership vote. R2 players may be promoted to R3 after three weeks by request. 

R2

After a probationary period of two weeks, R1’s may request promotion to R2. During this time, R2 players will be issued an initial warning for rule violations, but a second violation can result in removal by any of the leadership at any time. 

R1

R1 players are new arrivals to Dawn of Kings. Players will experience a probationary period of two weeks to understand and internalize what is expected of them in the alliance. During this time, R1 players may be removed from the alliance for any reason by any of the leadership.
